• The
diagram shows the closed centre brake circuit - Both brake pedals must be
depressed to operate front axle and air brakes.
• If
open centre hydraulic pump, there is only one brake line ( right side ) to
trailer brake valve - The front axle and air brakes will be operated when the
right hand brake pedal is depressed.
Bleeding
of brake system (2 persons):
LHS:
• Open
F1 and depress LHS pedal until oil flows out
•
Close F1, build up pressure with pedal and keep pedal down
• Slighty
open F1 allowing oil and air to escape
• When
flow stops close F1 before releasing the pedal.
•
Repeat until flow is free of air. Then do F2 and F3
•
Brake
cylinders connection:
• Open
F1 of RHS circuit, depress and hold RHS pedal
•
depress and hold LHS pedal
•
Close F1, release RHS pedal and then the LHS pedal
•
Repeat until flow is free of air.
•
RHS:
• F1
already done
•Do F2
and F3 like the LHS
