Monitor in big baler part 5 5. Menu structure
A. Overview
B. Mainscreen 1 & 2
When you press the mainscreen 1 or 2
button 2x you enter the working mode.
As before, the icon of the baler will
change in a load and a capacity indicator from the moment you exceed a PTO
speed of 600 rev/min.
On the top of the main screen you can see
a number of icons which indicate which options are installed and/or active. You
can have :
-An indication for greasing system
-An indicator for fans. Until 600 rpm you
will see a cross through the symbol indicating that the fans are installed but
not active
-An indication for maintenance that has to
be done
-An indication for the position of the
knives..
Each time the same : if an symbol pops up
with a cross over it, it indicates that this particular option is installed but
not active because some conditions havent been fullfilled.
To switch the automatic and manual mode,
you can select the upper right button and you can change the density with the +
or – buttons.
Depending the options which are
installed, you can have a number of icons popping up in the menu structure at
the right side.
to switch your worklights on or
off, for the flashlight on/off or if an electrical bale length system has been
installed – a button to knot manually.
If one of these buttons are not visible,
this indicates that the option is not set to installed in the machine setup
screen. Adjust if necessary.
C. Field settings
This menuitem is only visible when a
electrical bale length kit is installed or when a moisture kit is installed AND
in the machine setup page is set to installed.
In this screen, you can calibrate your
bale length. In the first box you fill in your desired bale length. You make a
few bales (preferrable at least 3) and measure these bales. Make an average of
the length and fill this in in the second box. Your bale length system is now
calibrated.
In the 3rd box, you can set a minimum
moisture level which is acceptable during the work.
If the moisture drops under this value you will get an warning.
If the moisture drops under this value you will get an warning.
In the 3th box, you can set the maximum
moisture level which is acceptable during the work. If the moisture exceeds
this value, you will get an warning (Moisture too high).
With the On/Off button you can activate/deactivate the warnings.
With the On/Off button you can activate/deactivate the warnings.
D. Memory page
When pressing 2x on the memory page, you
enter it.
In the mainscreen, you have the overview of the saved memories.
In the mainscreen, you have the overview of the saved memories.
The number of icons you see on the screen
(such as uncut bales, cut bales, moisture, bale length) depends on the
installed options and are not always visible.
On
the field :
-With memory “0” selected, you give in a
job name in the “job name” field and start baling.
-Each time a bale is dropped, the counter
increases.
-At the completion of the field you can
edit the number of bales (e.g. Subtract an open bale). This has to be done in
memory “0”. All other memories will not be editable.
-You press the store button (disk in the
right upper corner) and at that moment your active job is shifted to memory
page 1. The data that was in memory 1 shifts to 2, 2 to 3 ...
-The memory “0” is reset to 0 and is ready
for a next job.
In total we have a memory space of 20
places available. If you exceed that number, you loose your 21th data
E. Service interval
Pressing the service interval button 2x
brings you in the service interval page.
With the button in the middle you can
tell the system that your maintenance has been done. There is a button for the
10h, 50h, 100h, 250h and 2500 bales service interval. You can also see a
counter which shows how many hours already passed since last service check.
With the buttons on the right, you can
have a summary of dates and amount of total bales and hours when last service
has been done
F. User settings
In the user settings menu, you can adapt
some configurations. This screen is mainly for the driver and contains :
-Oiling interval (only visible when
installed in the machine setup) can be changed to high, normal, low, test to
meet the field conditions you are working in. This setting changes the waiting
time between 2 oiling pulses.
-Greasing interval : same as for the
oiling interval.
-Show warnings : enabling this function
will give you a popup when a warning occurs
-Show service interval : enabling this
function will give you a popup when service needs to be done.
-Sound enabled : enabling this function
will enable the sound of the monitor. (on warnings)
G. Machine setup
In the machine setup screen you can setup
the configuration of your machine. Flashlight installed, moisture installed,
pickup stop ...
Pay attention that not all parameters are
changeable. To change a number of parameters you need to enter a dealer mode.
H. Information
The information screen shows you some
totals (bales and hours) of your baler. You can also find the serial number of
your baler in this screen and also the machine type and cutter type are
displayed. There are no changeable items in this screen.
I. Active errors
Pressing 2x the active error button, a
summary of the active errors are displayed.
Each error is represented by 3 things :
Each error is represented by 3 things :
-An error code
-An indication of which sensor / output is
malfunctioning
-A short description of what is happening
(e.g. Line open, voltage too low ...)
You cannot delete the active errors. You
can only use the up and down arrows to scroll the complete list.
J. Error overview
In the error overview screen, you will
have an summary of all errors which were and still are active. After each error
there is a checkbox.
To delete : 2 possibilities :
-Select the wanted errors with the
checkbox and press the delete button (2nd from top)
-Press the ‘delete all’ button (3rd from
top) and all errors will be deleted.
-
Errors which are still active popup
immediately back on the screen and have to be solved first.
K. Screen setup
To setup your workscreens, you can select
a number of parameters in the screen setup pages. Screen setup 1 is for main
screen 1, screen setup 2 for main screen 2.
The number of parameters in the list will
depend again on the installed options.
L. Diagnosis inputs
In this page you can see all inputs that
come into the BCM. In this way you can diagnose a defect sensor, broken wire
...
For a number of sensors (mistie sensor
and load sensor) you also have a calibration button which guides you through
the calibrations.
The monitor does noet indicate the 5
zones any more but gives only an indication ‘high’, ‘low’, ‘defect’.
Voltage <5V : OK low
Voltage >6,5V : OK high
Voltage = 8V : disconnected
Voltage = 0V : shorted to ground
Voltage = 12V : shorted to 12V

Monitor in big baler part 4 4. Screen layout
The screen exists out of 4 main parts :
1)At
the left hand side you will see the DOG (display of gears) area which can be
modified on a tractor. You can put in the date and time, speed, fuel
consumption ... as wanted.
●
2)In
the middle part you will have your VT application. Compare your monitor on the
tractor with windows and powerpoint. Your tractor software is your windows and
the VT application which runs can be compared wiht powerpoint. This VT
application runs in your tractor software.
●
3)On
the Intelliview III monitor you will see an additional menubar which has 3
buttons. Maybe you saw already that we do not have a home button on the screen
as we had on Intelliview II ?
●
At the right side you will have the menu
buttons as you have on all applications. This is regarding your baler
application but can be changed to the tractor application with one touch. Speak
about that on the next slide.
As already spoken, on intelliview III, we
have an additional toolbar. The goal ? Well, it has 3 buttons :
1)A key
to switch to the next application (or camera function when installed)
2)A key
which can toggle the softkeys between baler application (powerpoint) and
tractor (windows). This is a fast and easy way to switch between runscreen 6
(VT) and e.g. Runscreen 2 (trip computer)
3)A
home key which brings you to the tractor main screen.

Monitor in big baler part 3 3. Startup
A. Startup mode
the screen and the baler will communicate
and the screen will look if it has the correct software available to show
everything on the screen. Is this not the case (this is normally only during
the first startup) the screen will download the necessary files. This can take
up to 1 minute and is indicated by an icon in the DOG area of the screen.
Once done, it will show a disk to
indicate the software is dowloaded and stored in the screen.
After a next powercycle, the screen knows
that it has the correct software so it does not repeat this step. The user can
drive immediately
B. Setup in runscreens
To ease the use of the system, we will
advice the customer to setup his VT application in the runscreens. Do not
forget that we have a screen which can contain a lot of information (guidance,
trip computer, information about hydraulic valves, speed ...) so it is
important for a customer to have everything grouped.
How to setup ?
Go to the Toolbox and select the layout tab. Select a Runscreen (e.g. Run 6) and select VT2x6 option to setup in the screen. If you go to the runscreen 6, you will have your VT application and with a single click on the button you can switch the runscreen.
If you haven’t setup you VT application in the runscreen, you will always have to return to the home screen and there select the VT button. Which costs you a little more time.

C. Delete VT applications
When
?
•Client has sold his VT application but
keeps his monitor in his tractor.
•Software crashed completely
How
?
•Go to “Toolbox” – “VT” – “NVM”
•Press “Delete”
Imagine the customer sels his baler but
keeps his monitor in his tractor. This means that the downloaded file is still
in the monitor but will never be used again. It only consumes your memory.
It is adviced to delete this file.

How ?
Go to “Toolbox” – “VT” – “NVM” and press on delete
Remark :
You do not have to be afraid that your
total balecounter / total hours ... Will be reset because all balecounters are
stored in the BCM and not in the monitor.

Monitor in big baler part 2 2. Installation
2. Installation
Customers with a VT tractor only need to
connect the baler to their isobus connector at the back of the tractor, switch
on the contact and drive.
Customers who do not have a isobus
tractor will work as before : They install the tractor harness (which commes
with the baler) into their tractor and connect the screen. To install this wire
harness, you need to find battery power, ground and a 12V after ignition
signal.
The break away connector is placed at the
rear of the tractor.

Monitor in big baler شاشة البيان والتحكم فى المكبس part1
Use and configuration
With the BB9000 series baler, also the
user interface had a serious face lift. From this moment onwards, the baler is
fully isobus compliant. This isobus compliancywas already an option on the
2005-2008 machines.
The isobus compliancy indicates that
every tractor which is equiped with an ISO11783 connector, can communicate with
this baler without installing an additional monitor.
Customers who do not have a ISO11783
compliant tractor can still install a tractor harness with monitor into the
cab.
As a customer, you will have 3
possibilities of monitor option to order with your baler :
1)You
buy the baler without monitor. This can be done when you already have a Isobus
tractor. (e.g. T7000 with isobus option) In that case, you do not need an
additional monitor. You can connect your baler to the tractor and use the
already installed monitor.
●
2) You
order the InfoviewII monitor. This monitor, is the successor of the previous
infoview monitor with the big difference that this one is an VT monitor. This
is an black and white monitor with 6 softkeys at the right hand side and a big
rotary button to do your settings.
●
3)Customers
who prefer a touch screen can obtain a Intelliview III monitor. This colour
monitor is fully equiped for touch screen and is very easy to use. This screen
also gives you the possibility to view the image that comes from your camera at
the back of your baler.
